‘Bridge’ (The Last Flight), 2013-2016

‘Bridge’ (The Last Flight) is a photographic project by Nina Šperanda exploring bridges as both connections and places of rupture. Using a camera thrown from bridges, the work captures chance perspectives that echo the final views of those who chose to depart life from these structures. Through testimony and experimentation, Šperanda reflects on loss, memory, and the fragile threshold between presence and absence, confronting the tension between architecture’s promise of connection and its potential for interruption.
